Worst Blogger EVER

I don't know what it is about me and writing a "journal" but I just do not have the gene in me.

Here we are, nearly 3 years since my last post, and it happens to be the same time frame. The difference is that I'm not married to my wonderful husband Joey of 3 years, and we bought a house in Weiser, ID. I no longer teach at Centennial High School, but instead teach English as Fruitland Middle School, with hopes and aspirations of teaching at the college level one day.

Some things that I have learned the last few years that I feel are worth posting about are:

1) Marriage is the hardest & most beautiful thing you will ever do in your life. I will never take it for granted, and I am eternally grateful that I have found the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I have grown in so many ways these last few years, and it is because I am learning what it truly means to SHARE my life. Thank you, Joey for teaching me that.

2) Theater is my happy place, but that doesn't mean it needs to be my entire world. I discovered that it is possible to enjoy life without being involved in a production every waking moment of my life. Of course, I will still be involved in Theater, just not consumed by it as I used to be.

3) Dave Ramsey is HARD but so rewarding to follow when we are BOTH working as a team to accomplish the same goal. I can not wait to become debt free, and then begin to work towards one of my many dreams (theater, coffee shop, travel the world, kids...).

4) I will never be skinnier than as fat as I used to think I was.

5) I have much to learn before I can ever be a true professional in any field.

And there my friends is where I shall end this post. No promises of anything to come in the near future, but perhaps with some luck, I'll remember something else I want to share.
